Frequently asked questions

Your answers, all in one place.

  • Family Responsibilities

    • Drop off by 9:00 AM
    • Sign children in/out daily
    • Keep contact info up to date
    • Supply diapers, wipes, extra clothing, and a sleep sack (infants)
    • Communicate openly and respond promptly
    • Keep toys and outside food at home
    • Notify us of any absences or late drop-offs
  • Holidays & Vacation

We observe major holidays and take up to three weeks off annually. All dates are shared in advance, and fees remain due during these closures. Parents may end enrollment with 30 days' notice and final payment.

  • Health & Safety

We follow strict guidelines to keep all children safe and healthy:

Children must stay home if they’ve had a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea in the last 48 hours

Immunization records must be current and follow CA state guidelines

We do not administer over-the-counter meds; prescribed medication requires a consent form

  • Potty Training Support

We support each child’s unique potty training journey—no pressure, just partnership. When your child shows signs of readiness (and is at least 2), we’ll work with you to develop a plan. We use pull-ups until your child can stay dry during the day and tell us when they need to go. We also use a star jar to make potty time feel exciting and positive!

  • Starting Solids & Nutrition

We take pride in preparing nutritious meals that match your baby’s stage of development:

Stage 1: Smooth purees of root veggies & fruit

Stage 2: Yogurt, cheese, and soft textures

Stage 3: Family-style meals with safe textures and chopped bites

*We introduce foods thoughtfully and avoid potential allergens like honey, egg, peanut butter, and cow’s milk until appropriate.
